Mission

A Simple Mission:
I have a simple mission: to share what I have found, salvation through Jesus Christ, with those who may be searching.

A sinner saved by grace, that’s me. I’ve placed my faith and trust in Jesus Christ, and his sacrificial death upon the cross, to pay the penalty for my sins.

Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. KJV

I’m not perfect and I don’t profess to be. I still sin, but I endeavor to walk in holiness. I have learned that forgiveness sets us free and holding grudges keeps us in bondage; I, therefore, choose to forgive those who have hurt me and pray those whom I have harmed will forgive me as well. I endeavor to walk in love and strive to be more like Christ every day. Even when I fail, and I do, He faithfully picks me up, sets me on my feet, and encourages me to begin again.

Jesus Christ claims to be the only way to the heavenly Father, and I believe Him.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. KJV

You may accept or reject His claims. It is simply my desire and responsibility to share them with you. If you are interested in pursuing His assertions, I encourage you to read the New Testament. If you are interested in obtaining salvation, you may find the following section helpful. I pray God will bless you.

St. Paul’s Roman’s Road to Salvation:

Question: Are you a sinner?

Answer: Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. KJV

Question: What is the penalty of your sin?

Answer: Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. KJV

Question: How did God pay the penalty for your sin?

Answer: Romans 5:8-9 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. KJV

Question: If you cannot work to obtain salvation, how can God declare you righteous?

Answer: Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. KJV

Question: What must you do to be saved?

Answer: Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. KJV

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. KJV

Question: What must you do to begin your new life in Christ?

Answer: Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. KJV

Sinner's Prayer: Pray this prayer and then confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior to others.

Lord Jesus,

I confess that I am a sinner deserving of death. I thank You that You came to earth as a man, lived a sinless life, voluntarily suffered and died for my sins, were buried, and rose from the grave by the power of the Holy Spirit, that You are seated at the right hand of the Father.

I ask You to forgive me for my sins and grant me eternal life. Come into my heart and make me Your own. Amen.
